Garden Event Draws Hundreds Each Year

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Po‘ipū (October 2, 2010) – The Southshore Visitors Center of the National Tropical Botanical Garden announced today they are accepting applications from crafters and artisans to sell their wares at the upcoming Holiday Craft Fair on Sunday, December 5. Deadline for applications is Friday, November 26.

During each year of its 7-year history, the “Christmas in the Garden Holiday Craft Fair” has grown in attendance, size, and selection. Last year’s Fair drew about 500 people, who shopped, ate, listened to music, and enjoyed free massages, all in the beautiful setting of the Garden’s 10-acre site in Po‘ipū, while their keiki took part in fun activities designed for a variety of ages. This year’s Fair promises to be even better.

A limited number of 10’ x 8’ covered spaces with a table and chair and special parking are available ($100 charge, non-refundable).

National Tropical Botanical Garden is a not-for-profit, non-governmental institution with nearly 2,000 acres of gardens and preserves in Hawai‘i and Florida.
