Description:
The New Guinea creeper is a rainforest liana (large, woody vine). Numerous cascading clusters of brilliant
red flowers in racemes 3 to 4 inches long dangle from the leafless stems and form a stunning display when in full flower. This species is much rarer in cultivation than its distant cousin the blue jade vine because not many gardens can accommodate this vigorous vine which may eventually smother large trees.

Geographic Distribution:
Origin is New Guinea, but it flourishes in other tropical to semi-tropical regions as well.
