How You Can Help

Frequently we hear, read, or see evidence of the important role of the tropics in our global environment. Today’s ever increasing pressures from people, and the plants and animals they introduce, threaten those fragile ecosystems and may profoundly affect the future.

You can do something about this. We ask for your help to protect and learn from these invaluable treasures, either with a gift of money or of your time, or both.

Whether you make a donation, join as a member, or become a volunteer -- you will be making a difference.

The mission of the National Tropical Botanical Garden is to enrich life through discovery, scientific research, conservation, and education by perpetuating the survival of plants, ecosystems, and cultural knowledge of tropical regions.
