The individual will focus on tour and event sales with a primary responsibility to grow the number of visitors coming to NTBG’s Southshore Gardens through direct hotel booking channel. This requires developing a close working relationship with sales/activity staff at hotels on the island.
The successful candidate will be required to have a good understanding of the price points on tours and the commission structure, as well as learning the A3H booking system.
This position will report to NTBG Director and CEO and work closely with Visitors Center staff, who manage the tour bookings, and with the Tour Manager to identify surplus capacity on tours, as well as conducting familiarization tours. Additionally this position will work closely with NTBG’s finance team to document and track current tour sales, commission practices and levels, and yield (spend per visitor) levels that are generated through this channel.

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal skills, and knowledge of database management (Raiser’s Edge used); must have understanding of and ability to learn basic accounting and be able to handle general office duties.
Responsibilities also include assisting with planning and the coordination of events, working with constituents and the public on site rentals for weddings, receptions, corporate events, and similar.
This individual will interact with a diverse group of people.
